Craving Dessert? Well, I've got just the thing: Raw avocado chocolate mousse!
Raw avocado chocolate mouse is truly one of the most satisfying recipes to make because it is so delicious, it can fool anyone into thinking it's a naughty food. I created this raw avocado chocolate mousse using five organic ingredients: avocado, raw organic honey, dark cacao powder, coconut oil and water, to make the most nourishing raw avocado mousse dessert!

I purchased most of the ingredients at Trader Joe's except for the Almond Milk which I made myself. (Feel free to substitute purified water in your recipe.)
- 1/2 large or 1 whole small organic avocado, scooped and pitted.
- Organic dark chocolate 73% – about 3 squares at room temperature (Optional)
- 2-3 heaping teaspoons Organic cocoa powder
- 2 heaping teaspoons Raw organic honey
- 1 heaping teaspoon Organic extra virgin coconut oil
- Approximately 1/4 cup (more or less –use sparingly) purified water (or almond milk)
- 1 - 3 dark cherries to garnish (Optional)
METHOD: Add avocado, cocoa, honey, coconut oil and half the water or almond milk into the Vitamix. Keep speed low. Turn the speed up gently until the variable is high. Stop the blender and check to see if more water or almond milk is needed. If so, sparingly add water remembering that you want to keep a thick consistency for this mousse. Turn the speed back down low again, then turn the speed up high quickly, until the avocado is a thick whipped consistency.
Taste and adjust flavoring if needed. HINT: If you’re tasting the avocado, go ahead and add another teaspoon of cocoa and 1/2 teaspoon of honey. Turn the Vitamix on again at slow speed, progressing to high speed to avoid splattering.
When your flavors are adjusted, spoon the raw avocado chocolate mousse into ramekins and refrigerate until ready to serve!
