Your Current Diet Plan Is Failing You. Here's Why...

According to the Weight and Eating Disorders Program at the University of Pennsylvania nearly sixty-five percent of dieters return to their pre-dieting weight within three years. Most who participate in weight-loss programs “regain about one-third of the weight lost during the next year and are typically back to baseline in three to five years.” According to the New England Journal of Medicine. 

There are a three obvious reasons why this is the case:  

  • Dieters simply can’t out-train or out run Standard American Diet recommendations anymore--even on commercial diet plans. The Standard American Diet recommendations are too high in animal protein despite research from the University of Southern California findings that people who eat diets rich in animal protein carry similar cancer risk to those who smoke 20 cigarettes each day.
  • The diet industry markets and sells garbage foods that contain sugar, colorings, additives, GMOs and other mystery ingredients that the human body doesn’t recognize. These are in the form of energy bars, desserts and protein drinks.
  • The modern day dieter is often addicted to the ingredients in their processed foods. I call the white trifecta in my book EAT! -- Empower. Adjust. Triumph!: Lose Ridiculous Weight. The white trifecta are salt, sugar and flour.  Research found that self-assessed food addicts in Overeaters Anonymous were successful in weight loss by dealing first with physical cravings, then abstaining completely from these addictive ingredients.  

Let's face it, getting your health back is a serious undertaking that requires work, commitment, and unwavering focus. You have to give it everything you've got. Can we blame millions of dieters who burn out, become disillusioned and angry, and then quit after learning nothing about permanence from their commercial diet plans? Can we really blame them for going back to their old ways in frustration after their diet plans failed them? We can't, because they've learned nothing about eating for true health. 

To achieve true health you need to eat foods that your body works with, not against. Nature's foods are the fastest and most convenient and nourishing foods on this planet. They work with your body, not against it like commercial diet plans that recommend high amounts of protein and so-called energy bars and shakes. These plans set the dieter up to go back to old habits and gain back the weight. What's more it gives them a false sense of security that their bad advice will give them health. 

Bottom line is losing weight does not mean health if you're on a commercial diet plan. Refuse to be disempowered when it comes to your health. What you eat matters. How you eat matters. When you eat matters. Instead of striving to become a lifelong member of a diet plan that allows or even recommends poisonous artificial sweeteners and fast and processed foods, empower yourself to become a lifelong member of a diet plan that's foolproof and guaranteed to last for life -- a long, healthy life!  Nature's got you covered!
